my name is jacobus. im an average guy landscaper adventurist sea lover and general good guy. my voyage have just started. im in the pursuit of freedom and happiness. I never blogged before. I read a blog a couple of years ago about a lady on travel. her screen name. afrikays. sounds intriguing doesn't it? My day started this morning at 1. getting out of bed to leave my mother's house to make my way to Pretoria through the strange early winter drizzle. at this point I knew life was about to start. at this point I knew I am an adventurer. from now on I hail AFRIKOOS.

the life I had running my own business and making bad financial discision are as of now over by monday when im back all will be forgotten and the business sold. I set my quest at this time towards Mozambique then a small stopover back home and the Netherlands. from there only God knows where I'll end. hopefully in happiness.
